FEATURE FORTHCOMING EVENTS
FATHERS DAY AT CHEWTON GLEN - Sunday 15th June 2008
In March, we held in the Lake Suite at Chewton Glen a fabulous afternoon tea party to celebrate Mother's Day. During the afternoon we had some many requests to do something special for Fathers Day, that we have the please in including two rather nice treats for Dads in our programme this year.
Clay Pigeon Shooting

Join our experts for an early-afternoon clay pigeon shoot in the grounds of Chewton Glen. Lasting around two and a half hours you will shoot up to fifty clays, under the guidance of professional tutors from the Purbeck Shooting School.
£80.00 per person
Including coffee and tea on arrival. The event is scheduled to finish in good time for our Father's Day
Fathers Day Afternoon Tea

A wonderful English Afternoon tea for father's to enjoy with the whole family. The pianist will be playing whilst you enjoy a selection of sandwiches, delicious cakes and pastries, warm hand-made scones served with West Country clotted cream and local strawberry jam and of course a refreshing cup of tea or two...plus soft drinks for the children.
£25.00 per person (£12.50 for children aged between 5-12, under 5's no charge)
Includes: Full afternoon tea and pianist

GOURMET DINNER WITH PRUE LEITH OBE - Thursday 24th July
Enjoy a fabulous dinner produced with the finest Hampshire ingredients in the company of celebrity restaurateur, food writer and critic Prue Leith OBE at Chewton Glen on Thursday 24th July.

As part of the July 2008 Hampshire Food Festival, Chewton Glen has incorporated arguably the finest ingredients available locally, produced at Jody Schecker's famous Laverstoke Park, to create a four-course menu to delight the taste buds.
We are thrilled that Prue Leith has agreed to be our speaker and guest of honour for the evening. Born in South Africa, Ms Leith has had a fascinating career, she started her first business in 1960 supplying quality business lunches which grew to become Leith's Good Food Limited. She then opened 'Leith's', her famous Michelin-Starred restaurant in 1969 and in 1975 founded 'Leith's School of Food and Wine'. Awarded the OBE in 1989 she became Veuve Cliquot Business Woman of the Year in 1990 and holds seven honourary degrees or fellowships from UK universities. She is currently well known as a judge on the BBC TV programme the 'Great British Menu' and regularly produces a column in the national and Sunday press.
Non-Residential: £95.00 per person
Includes: Drinks reception, four-course dinner with wines and coffee, presentation
Overnight Package: £214.50 per person
Includes all the above elements and overnight accommodation, continental breakfast, full use of the award-winning spa and leisure facilities, service and VAT. Prices are based on two people sharing a Bronze Room.
