Fishing in The New Forest
There is excellent freshwater fishing nearby on the rivers Avon and Itchen and on the beautiful estates of Broadlands and Timsbury on the River Test. Day permits are sometimes available and we would be pleased to arrange a fishing trip for you, suitable for both the novice and experienced 'rod'. Please give as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment.
Fly Fishing
On the edge of the unspoilt New Forest, Rockbourne near Fordingbridge is a unique Trout Fishery that has been home to superb trout fishing for over 35 years. Six spring-fed lakes spread across 52 acres of woodland and pasture provides some of the most private, secluded and beautiful fishing in the country.
- 3 fish ticket per person (half day/ full day) - £50.00
- 4 fish ticket per person (full day) - £60.00
- 5 fish ticket per person (full day) - £70.00
- EA Rod License per person £4.50
- Rod and Tackle hire - £18.75
- Ghillie/Instructor - £195.00 (*)
(*) Please note; Ghillie is optional but is recommended per 1-4 guests. For guests convenience, trout can be exchanged with the fishery for pre-caught, packaged smoked trout if required.

Booking and Cancellation:
48 hours advance notice is required for fly fishing and pre-booking is essential. We cannot guarantee fishing without advance booking. Bookings cancelled within 7 days of the event are charged 10% of the price. Bookings cancelled within 2 days of the event will be liable to a 100% charge of the price. Transfers to and from Rockbourne are not included.
