We are able to arrange a number of pre-booked tours of the local area for between 1 and 7 people and can offer full and half day tours. As well as the New Forest and Dorset and Hampshire Coastline to explore we are also able to organise trips to Stonehenge, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Country Houses and Formal Gardens as well Cities such as Winchester and Salisbury. If you have your own vehicle then you may wish to use our tours as a guide for your own exploration of the local area.

New Forest Excursions

For guests who would like to experience the true flavour of the New Forest and surrounding countryside we have produced a series of information packs and wonderful walks that have been created by expert guide Lynne Truell.

The excursions will take you to delightful parts of the forest that are often undiscovered by visitors in the area. Each pack includes precise road directions from the hotel, detailed and laminated instructions for the walks, with photographs, a New Forest parking clock, local information and a Ordnance Survey map. Please ask for further details from Reception next time you stay at Chewton Glen. Lynee Truell is also very happy to provide private tours of the New Forest when she will act as your personal guide and walking companion.
