GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED - 11th - 13th July 2008

Chewton Glen to Goodwood by Car is only one hour 30 minutes and by helicopter 25 minutes. We can arrange a chauffeur to take you to and from the festival if required.

Since the inaugural meeting, the Festival has become established as a key event in the motor sport social calendar.

The Festival of Speed is far more than just a hillclimb: it can justifiably claim to be the world’s biggest and most diverse celebration of the history of motor sport and car culture. It is the only occasion where you will see the greatest competition cars and star drivers from all eras in action: everything from 19th century steam carriages to current Formula One; fabulous racing motorcycles; classic rally cars to 3000bhp dragsters; plus motor sport legends like Moss, Surtees, Fittipaldi and Andretti rubbing shoulders with today's hottest properties such as Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Fernando Alonso and Petter Solberg.

SKANDIA COWES WEEK - 2nd - 9th August 2008

Chewton Glen is only 10 minutes from Lymington, for departure by ferry to the Isle of Wight or 40 minutes from Southampton for departure directly to Cowes.

We are also able to charter Yacht's and Power Boats with Skipper and Crew if you wish to enjoy a day's sailing and to get up close to all the action.

We have plenty of availability from the 2nd to 9th August, so please call reservations for further information and enquiries.

Since 1826 Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar and is one of the UK’s longest running and most successful sporting events. It now stages up to 40 daily races for over 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world.

Skandia Cowes Week is a fusion of many exciting elements, with its great mix of competitive sailing and social activities. The 8,500 competitors range from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors. In excess of 100,000 spectators come to watch the sailing, enjoy the parties and live entertainment, and to experience the unique atmosphere. It is genuinely a one-of-a-kind event
