Horse Riding

The natural and most exciting way to see the New Forest is on horseback. The New Forest pony is one of the UK's recognised breeds of mountain and moorland ponies and noted for its intelligence, strength and "willing-to-please" temperament. Of all the native British pony breeds, New Foresters are the least afraid of man.

There are a number of local stables, and riding can be arranged for all standards. Many of our guests use the Burley Manor Riding Stables. The New Forest Tourism website has details of the Manor and other stables.

Riding in the New Forest, followed by a visit to the hydrotherapy pool, and a superb dinner in the hotel restaurant-bliss.
