How to Spa at Chewton Glen
Treatment etiquette:
It is quite normal to wear underwear, a dry costume or a towel if you wish. We also provide disposable underwear. Chewton Glen Health Spa therapists will ensure you are modestly covered with towels at all times.
Health considerations:
You will be asked to complete a health questionnaire prior to your treatment and your Therapist will know what to look out for and advise accordingly. However, to avoid disappointment should you have a contagious condition, recent operation or any serious condition, please speak with our Spa Reception for advise on suitable treatments to choose.
Mothers to Be:
During your first 12 weeks of pregnancy we do not recommend any form of treatments using essential oils and massage. Facials, Reiki, manicures and pedicures are recommended during this time. After the first trimester, pregnancy massage is available utilising our specially designed pregnancy couch.

Points on Safety:
Although trained staff are on duty in the Spa, we do not have any dedicated lifeguards watching the pools. If you suffer from high blood pressure, have recently been unwell or believe you may be pregnant you should not use the saunas, steam rooms, hydrotherapy pool or outdoor hot tub.
