Revenue Analyst (40 hours per week)

 

To assist in maximizing revenues through Management of all revenue streams, by implementing proactive, strategic selling strategies & action plans that are aimed to deliver budgeted revenues.

Assisting with the development of the entire revenue function with a dynamic approach to improving working practice and communication with all hotels.

  • To ensure techniques are applied to maximise revenues all revenue streams using the following tools:
  • To be responsible for yield managing the systems effectively, analyse conversion and C&E booking lead times, analyse market trends through STR reporting and ensure to monitor competitor performance and market share through appropriate reports
  • Effective management of availability through all distribution channels
  • Ensure that every opportunity to sell across all hotels is understood and explored throughout the central sales team
  • To assist and produce accurate financial forecasts for all Hotels
  • Manage rate loading and rate mapping with third parties
  • Efficiently handling requests for room rates
  • Provide analytics to evaluate rates
  • To take an active role in developing and nurturing existing customer accounts.
  • Ensure Top Producers for Bedrooms & Meeting Rooms are monitored & reviewed in order to action any shortfall / growth.
  • To constantly review Regretted Business to ensure the Business on the Books is the most profitable.
  • To liaise with Marketing to ensure all promotion / programmes are fully understood and right for the business.
  • To attend the biweekly Forecast meetings
  • Ensure accuracy of data in all systems
  • Monthly Analysis & reporting of Actual Performance vs Budget & Forecast identifying trends that will impact future performance
  • Monthly Analysis & reporting of Actual Performance vs Competitor Set
  • Involvement in the budget / planning process
  • Ensure all Department Checklists are in Place & Actioned
  • To be fully aware of the Hotel’s Fire Safety procedures and Health & Safety regulations
