Food For The Family

£175 per person

Georgie Soskin is on a mission to make family meals a healthy, nutritious and delicious affair. If you are concerned about your little ones getting enough of the key nutrients at meal times or wish to improve your home cooking repertoire then this is the class for you. During the day Georgie will show you clever hints on freezing, preparing in advance and other tips for modern family meals. At the end of the class you will leave with a range of tasty dishes and ideas that will help to nourish your family.

  •  Cinnamon and pear breakfast muffins
  • Spiced eggy bread
  • Nut butter porridge
  • Chicken satay with peanut butter sauce and green rice
  • Lentil shepherd’s pie
  • Coconut and spinach fish curry
  • Boosting grains
  • After school energy boosting nut snack bars
  • Homemade kefir

Dishes may be subject to slight change to reflect the seasonal produce available.

Arrive – 9.30am for refreshments, meet and greet with the Georgie and a run through of the day.

In the middle of the day we will break for lunch around the chef’s demonstration area. With many of the classes you will be tucking into the food you have cooked and for some we will provide dishes from The Kitchen restaurant, all accompanied with a glass of wine. During the day we will show you around our kitchen garden and pop into our beautiful greenhouse, introducing you to our gardeners if they are tending to the beds at the time.

Finish – 3.30-4.00pm, take home your creations and The Kitchen apron leaving the washing up for our cookery school team!
