From The Kitchen

£175 per person

If you have dined in The Kitchen or perhaps interested in learning the secrets behind some of The Kitchen’s most popular dishes then this is the class for you. The Kitchen menu has been designed by Chewton Glen alumni James Martin and our own ‘home grown’ Adam Hart who has taken on the role of Head Chef. During the day you will have the opportunity to appreciate the importance of high quality ingredients and learn how our chefs prepare ingredients ready to finish off the dishes at the last minute giving you the confidence to try new dishes at home and enjoy cooking for loved ones.

Course Dishes:

  • Selection of Adam’s favourite seasonal grazing tapas
  • Wagyu beef burger with pickled Asian slaw
  • Watercress and smoked chicken superfood salad
  • Baby chicken with caper and herb dressing
  • Seasonal dessert inspired by James Martin.

Dishes may be subject to slight change to reflect the seasonal produce available.

Arrive – 9.30am for refreshments, meet and greet with your Chef Tutor and enjoy a run through of the day.

In the middle of the day we will break for lunch around the chef’s demonstration area. With many of the classes you will be tucking into the food you have cooked and for some we will provide dishes from The Kitchen restaurant, all accompanied with a glass of wine. During the day we will show you around our kitchen garden and pop into our beautiful greenhouse, introducing you to our gardeners if they are tending to the beds at the time.

Finish – 3.30-4.00pm, take home your creations and The Kitchen apron leaving the washing up for our cookery school team!
