'Loire Valley, beyond Sancerre' Wine Dinner

Monday 4th March

The Loire Valley is the longest river valley in France, stretching nearly 1000 km from its source in the Massif Central to its mouth on the Atlantic coast at Nantes:

Vibrant Sauvignon Blanc in the east of the valley, earthy reds from Cabernet Franc, wonderfully versatile whites from Chenin Blanc in the Touraine, crisp refreshing Muscadet from the windswept plains of the Nantais and finally sweet botrysised wines of Coteaux de Layon.

Is Sancerre the most familiar village in the Loire? It probably is but, explore the rest of the Valley, and you will find a perfect pairing to accompany your favourite dishes.

The evening hosted by our Wine Director Francesco Gabriele takes place in the Wine Room and is limited to just 12 guests. Enjoy an aperitif and canapé reception, followed by a four course dinner with paired wines.

Non-residential £95 per person

Includes: aperitif & canapé reception, four course dinner with wine pairings, coffee and chocolates.
