Head Spa Housekeeper (40 hours per week)
- Manage the Team to ensure standards of cleanliness of the Spa are maintained at all times.
- Ensure that a high standard of presentation, professionalism, and friendliness are maintained at all times.
- Take responsibility for covering all shifts with a rota system along with organising cover as and when required.
- Carry out a thorough induction and training programme for every new Spa
- Monitor staff development and follow the Company appraisal system.
- Ensure that the Department’s SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) are updated regularly.
- Develop new systems and procedures to improve efficiency of the department where ever possible.
- Ensure all cleaning products are used correctly.
- Ensure all administrative duties are followed correctly and in a timely manner. These include stock takes, producing the staff rota, ordering stock and managing the cleaning schedules.
- Communicate all aspects of the day to day operations to the Reception team and other staff and Managers where appropriate.
- Hold regular update meetings with the Team (every 4 – 6 weeks).
- Advise Maintenance on any issues as they arise using the correct procedure.
- Attend any necessary training courses in-house or external and to ensure that Company Policies are followed at all times.
