Tennis at Chewton Glen
If you enjoy playing tennis in the Hampshire countryside, you will be in for a treat. In the hotel grounds, we have a dedicated tennis centre which offers among the best facilities available.
Our tennis centre includes two indoor and two outdoor tennis courts and on-site tennis professional.
- Two Indoor Marka-Grain Tennis Courts - Prices: £12.00 (before 5pm) or £14.00 (after 5pm) per hour
- Two All Weather Outdoor Tennis Courts - Prices: Complimentary for hotel guests
Bookings for the tennis courts are taken at the Spa reception. Balls and racquets are available at reception for guest usage to purchase or hire. Guests are requested to wear the correct tennis attire. Tennis shoes must be worn at all times when on the courts.
Tennis Coaching
If you want to brush up on your forehand or are simply looking for a playing partner then the hotel has its own resident tennis professional, Matthew Salisbury who is available for coaching and advice to players of all standards.
A former Somerset Men's County Champion and Yeovil and District Men's Open Champion, Matthew is an LTA Assistant Coach (Part 2) and a member of the PTCA.
