Guests can also choose to explore on their doorstep the historic towns of Christchurch with its famous Priory and Bournemouth, famous for its white sand beaches. The Hotel is also only a 20 minute walk to the beach from the grounds with spectacular views of the Dorset and Hampshire coastline across to the Isle of Wight.

Important directions update for guests arriving from 19th February - 20th March - PLEASE READ
If you are travelling from the A35 using our directions, please follow the current diversion signs labelled 'Chewton Glen hotel' in place. After you drive through Walkford, take the left turn onto Walkford road and follow the diversion signs onto Chewton Farm road. The hotel is at the end of Chewton Farm road on the left hand side. If travelling from the Bournemouth or Highcliffe direction on the A337, please access the hotel via our alternative entrance on this road.
For most guests the preferred route from London to Chewton Glen is via Emery Down, avoiding Lyndhurst. We strongly advise following this route. Lyndhurst gets very busy during the summer months and at weekends and will cause a delay to your journey:

By Rail:
South West Train Service from London Waterloo to New Milton Station.
The journey time from London to New Milton is 1 hour 45 minutes and Chewton Glen is 5 minutes by car from the station.
Alternatively the next nearest station is Brockenhurst. The journey time from London is 1 hour 30 minutes and Chewton Glen is a lovely 20 minute drive across the New Forest from the station. Brockenhurst Station has cross country connections from all parts of the UK.
