Superb Intimate Wedding & Wedding Planner
Every single part of our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect from beginning to end but having Georgia as our wedding planner the outcome of that came as little surprise. From the very first moment we met her to writing this now she was utterly amazing. Georgia's professional manner is impeccable and yet it is delivered with genuine warmth and care and blends these three things in an understated way. I wanted everyone to know so she also could make sure to appreciate just how good she is!. All of her colleagues from the doorman to the bar staff to the reception team emulate the high standards.

The Most Amazing Two Days
My son got married at the Chewton Glen Hotel at the beginning of August. We had the most amazing two days; the staff were courteous and helpful, the food was delicious, and the hotel beautiful. We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was just lovely. The whole hotel is sumptuous, luxurious, cosy and homely. We had the use of the Spa the following day and after a massage sat in the beautiful gardens drinking tea while the boys played golf. Thank you Chewton Glen for making us feel so welcome and at home in your beautiful hotel - I did not want to leave!!

Perfect In Every Way!
My now husband and I decided we would like to get married at the Chewton Glen earlier this year and from the outset everyone was absolutely excellent. Georgia in particular is the best wedding planner ever to grace this earth, and the sweetest, kindest person I have met in a while. My Partner is terminally ill and partially disabled, which makes any sort of outing very very stressful, let alone a wedding... however, everyone at the Chewton Glen went out of their way to make it the easiest stay they could. Nothing was too much to ask, they went above and beyond at every point. We stayed in the Junior Suite which was absolutely beautiful, I couldn't fault the room in anyway, and it was totally accessible without feeling like you're in a hospital, which is a struggle to find! I could go on and on but I just can't thank everyone at the Chewton Glen enough, you are all amazing

Outstanding From Start To Finish
I don’t know where to begin writing this review since there is so much I want to thank The Chewton Glen for and the whole team there.
Last weekend we had our wedding here at the hotel. Where do I start? Georgia Blacknell is truly this hotels superstar. Nothing and I mean NOTHING is too much trouble for her and since we organised this back in January 2020 we have experienced first class service from her and the team. We cannot credit her enough for keeping us sane at times when we thought we’d have to cancel due to covid. Every phone call and email was delivered with such enthusiasm and care making sure we had everything covered.... she even checked that we’d had eaten breakfast the morning of the wedding! Everything was organised for us, every request we made.. taken care of. Just amazing. The hotel itself is so iconic and impressed us from the moment we first visited. Every single member of staff from the person who met us at the entrance and took everything to our room, the check in staff... everyone you will encounter is attentive, caring, polite, professional and knowledgeable about the hotel. We stayed in the Marryat Suite for the weekend and this suite is a must if you can stretch your budget to something more special (all the rooms have wow factor). It was immaculately clean and all the little extras left for us were just so lovely.

Highly Recommended!
Where do I start. The service from all the staff from start to finish was impeccable! The rooms were very clean, if you needed anything extra they are very quick to accommodate that. We stayed in the Marryat suite for our wedding, the views at the hot tub were amazing. We were then very lucky to stay in the treehouse.
Thank you everyone that made our stay one to remember. Don’t hesitate about booking, you won’t regret it. If you are looking to get married I also couldn’t recommend Georgia and Chewton Glen more. She makes you feel so special, she is very organised and has great attention to detail. We were in very safe hands with Georgia! Highly recommend!

The Perfect Intimate Christmas Wedding
What can we say… we discovered Chewton Glen during lock down and later got engaged there in December 2021. We knew we wanted a small wedding and to our delight, Chewton Glen offered intimate weddings packages.
From the moment we enquired about holding our wedding at Chewton Glen, through to planning and the big day itself, Georgia our wedding coordinator went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was everything we wanted and more.
Georgia is organised, knowledgeable, and extremely professional but she adds an exceptional level of care and love that is so comforting. She was so invested in us and our day, and we really felt that in every email and phone call. We are in awe of how effortless Georgia made everything seem and her enthusiasm for absolutely everything!
Special thanks to Paris for helping us throughout the weekend of the wedding and also Thomas, who looked after us for the whole day in the Wine Room and Tinkers Bar. The personalised service and his attention to detail was impeccable throughout.
It was such a joy working with such a professional and friendly team who made our whole stay so wonderful for us and our guests.
Thank you so much Chewton Glen for ensuring we had the most incredible and perfect intimate Christmas wedding, we can’t thank you enough for the wonderful memories, not just on our wedding day, but all our previous visits to the hotel too, which holds a special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to return for our 1st anniversary.
