Join us for a fun filled culinary adventure in our Junior Chef cookery class, where creativity meets deliciousness in every bite.
In these exciting hands on sessions, budding junior chefs will learn to create a full meal from scratch, building essential kitchen skills while exploring flavours from around the world.
27th August: Chicken Katsu Curry with Steamed Rice, Decadent Chocolate Fudge Cake
Main Course: Create a crispy, golden Chicken Katsu Curry served with perfectly steamed rice. Children will master breading, frying, and crafting a silky curry sauce for this Japanese-inspired favourite.
Dessert: Indulge in baking a rich and decadent Chocolate Fudge Cake - moist, chocolatey, and utterly irresistible. It is the ultimate treat for any aspiring baker.
29th October: Coconut Chicken Curry, Banoffee Pie
Main Course: Create a fragrant Coconut Chicken Curry - a creamy, coconut-infused dish with tender chicken and a hint of spices. Children will learn how to balance flavours and perfect a curry sauce that is both rich and comforting.
Dessert: Whip up a classic Banoffee Pie, with layers of rich caramel, fresh bananas, and whipped cream on a biscuit base. It is a fun and indulgent dessert that is as enjoyable to make as it is to eat.
31st October: Meat Balls & Spaghetti, Spiced Carrot Cakes
Main Course: Master the art of making Meatballs & Spaghetti, with tender, flavourful meatballs in a rich tomato sauce, served with perfectly cooked pasta. Children will learn key skills like mixing, shaping and simmering to perfection.
Dessert: Bake Spiced Festive Carrot Cakes, a warm and delicious treat full of sweet, spiced goodness. These cakes are perfect for the festive season and a fun way for children to learn the basics of baking and decorating.
These hands on classes are designed to inspire confidence, creativity, and a love for cooking. By the end, your junior chef will have a delicious meal to take home, along with new skills to show off in the kitchen.
Parents/Guardians are not required to stay with children for the duration of the class, however a sign in form must be completed by each child's Parent/Guardian at the start of the session.

Please note that children attending Junior Chef Classes must be aged between 8-17. We are unable to accept children under the age of 8 due to Health and Safety. We reserve the right to turn children away who do not meet the minimum age requirement on the day of the class, and a refund will not be issued. Children must be able to reach and work at our workstations without the use of a stool or other object to raise them. All of our workstations are 900mm, the height of a standard kitchen surface.
Course Overview
Meet and greet with your Chef Tutor before making your way into the Kitchen Cookery School.
Get a feel for kitchen life at your own workstation with all the equipment and utensils you need to create your delicious dishes.
Take part in your cookery class, which will be a mixture of demonstration and hands on cooking.
Take home your creations, Recipe Pack and a Kitchen apron as a souvenir of your day!
Things to Know
In the majority of cases we will be able to adjust dishes to accommodate all dietary requirements so please let our reservation team know before you book or on your web booking. There are a very few classes that cannot successfully be adapted to accommodate a certain dietary requirement. If this is the case we will be more than happy to recommend a class to suit your needs.
We are often making improvements to recipes and adapting the dishes taught on our classes to enhance your experience. Dishes on this class may be subject to change.
