Tail Wags from the Chewton Glen Pack

A warm woofy welcome to Chewton Glen! We want you to feel like part of the pack and enjoy your stay with us, so here are some tail-wagging tips for you to sniff at.

The Treehouses

Our dog-friendly Treehouses are the perfect unique getaway for the whole family. Nestled on the edge of the New Forest and just a stone's throw away from the beach, Chewton Glen is perfectly located for some of the best dog walking routes in Hampshire and Dorset.

Should you wish to bring your four-legged friend with you we just ask that you please contact us by prior arrangement.

Walkies!

We have plenty of long and short countryside walks in the grounds with lots of exciting smells (and a few squirrels!) for you to discover. There is also a beach just 20-minutes’ walk away which is perfect for seaside ball games

Croquet Lawn Rooms

We are now welcoming dogs into a number of our Croquet Lawn Rooms on the ground floor. With direct access to the estate and wooden flooring, these rooms are the paw'fect retreat for you and your dog.

Where you can go

You're very welcome throughout our 130-acre grounds, in the Lobby, the Lounges, and on the Terraces, however, we politely request that you refrain from going into The Dining Room, bar, the outdoor pool area, The Spa and The Kitchen.

Dog Friendly Stays

Dog beds and dishes will be provided for you to use, along with complimentary water and arrival gifts. A specially curated dog menu which includes eats, treats and ice cream is also available (additional cost).

Should you wish to bring your four-legged friend with you when you next stay with us, then we just ask that you please contact us by prior arrangement in order to complete the necessary checks and for us to get everything ready for your arrival.

House Rules

- We welcome dogs of no more than 40kg, who are fully house-trained, and are a minimum of 6-months old.

-  Your dog is very welcome throughout our 130-acre grounds, in the Lobby, the Lounges, and on the Terraces, however, we politely request that you refrain from bringing them into The Dining Room, bar and The Kitchen.

- Please keep your dog on a lead at all times while in the grounds.

- If your dog defecates, we ask that you pick up after them. Waste can be disposed of in the large wooden bins located around the grounds

- Please do not leave your dog unattended in your room for long periods or allow them to bark excessively, as this may disturb other guests.

- If your dog becomes dirty or muddy, following a walk, please use the dog-washing stations provided before returning to your room

- If you leave your dog alone in your room, please hang the supplied fabric bone on the outside of your door. This lets our housekeeping team know your dog is inside and they will take appropriate care when approaching your room. Please also leave your mobile number with our reception team in case we need to contact you urgently.

- Guests are responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by their dog within the property and grounds. Charges may be applied to your room if necessary.
